## inviting: 令人愉快的，吸引人的 ##

if someone or something is inviting, they encourage you to feel welcome or attracted.  
这里encourage的意思是 “有助于”，不是常见的 “鼓励”

This hotel seems cozy and inviting.  
这家酒店好像很舒适并且很吸引人。

My grandma always has an inviting smile on her face.  
我奶奶脸上的微笑总是令人愉悦。

## paradise: 天堂 ##

a place or condition of great happiness where everything is exactly as you would like it to be

Living along the beach and eating BBQ with beer every day would be my paradise.

## maybe vs. may be ##

maybe是 “副词”， 表示 “也许，可能”，在句子中作状语，相当于 perhaps，通常位于句首。例如，Maybe he’ll take the train.

而在 may be 中，may是情态动词，be 是动词原形，与主语形成 主-系-表 结构，表示 “也许是，可能是”。例如，He may be late today. 这里，late是表语。
