## temperate: 温和的 ##

having weather that is not very hard or very cold

These kinds of plants can only grow in temperate climates.

My mom is very sensitive to the cold, so she can only live in places with a temperate climate.

1.  after a preposition: I’m not good at **learning language**.
2.  after a verb: I enjoy **reading**. I suggest **going** to the cinema.
