Milan is known as the fashion capital of Italy.

Paris, Milan, London, and New York are all considered as fashion capitals.

## notable: 值得注意的 ##

important and worthy of attention or notice

She has no talent in drawing, but her singing skills are notable.

## present perfect tense vs. simple past tense ##

*  He lost the key (过去时，仅表达过去的客观事实), but now he has found it. (现在完成时，表达结果，同时表明他可以开门了)。
 *  He has lived here since 1978. (现在完成时，表示动作一致持续，而且还会继续进行)
 *  It stopped raining for a while, but now it is raining again.
 *  It has stopped raining now, so we don’t need the umbrella.
 *  I have been in the army for more than five years.
