# Word Preparation #

## graduate: 毕业 ##

to complete a college or university degree successfully

Sam graduated from the University of California, San Diego.  
Sam毕业于加州大学圣地亚哥分校。

I will graduate with a master’s degree next summer.  
明年夏天我将硕士毕业。

## team member: 成员 ##

a person who is part of a group

We have more than a hundred team members in this company.  
我们公司有100多名成员。

The candidate must be able to work as a cooperative team member.  
候选人必须具有团队合作精神。

## training: 培训 ##

the process of learning the skills you need to do a particular job or activity.

New members have to take a training course before they start working.  
新成员在开始工作之前必须参加培训课程。

She only had a week of training before she went abroad.  
在出国前，她只参加了一周的培训。

## get back to something: 重新开始某事 ##

to start doing something again

It will take some time to get back to work after coming back from vacation.  
度假回来之后，需要调整一段时间才能重新开始工作。

I need to get back to writing this essay soon.

## get to know someone: 认识某人，逐渐了解某人 ##

to become more familiar with someone

I got to know Rachel during high school because we had many classes together.

## see you around: 回头见 ##

an expression used when you say goodbye but want to see someone again
