## sequel: 续集；续篇 ##

a book, film or play which continues the story of a previous book, etc.

I still have not read the sequel to the book *The Hobbit*。

## box-office: 票房 ##

# Grammar #

## the superlative of adjective ##

表示三者或者三者以上的人或物进行比较时，使用最高级。  
最高级的构成通常是 **单词词尾加est** 或 **单词前使用 the most** 或 **不规则变化**。  
例如，  
Is it **the** lat**est** movie by Marvel?  
This is **the most** advanced computer in our office.  
Films now have **the best** special effects.

最高级前必须使用 the，以示专指 **最…的那一个或一批**。

*  This hotel is **the** cheap**est** in town.
 *  Yesterday was **the** hott**est** day of the year.
 *  This is **the** easi**est** question in the exam.
 *  He is **the most** patient person I’ve ever met.
