## opt的用法 ##

opt 作为动词，表示 “选择，挑选” 之意；名词形式为 option，为 “选项，选择” 之意。 opt的用法如下：

1.  opt for/against，意为 “选择 （决定）做/不做 …”，后面可接名词或动名词
2.  opt to do sth.，因为 “选择（决定）做 …”

*  After graduating, she opted for a career in music.
 *  Most people opt for buying their own homes rather than renting them.
 *  After a lot of thought, I opted against buying a motorbike.
 *  Many workers opted to leave their jobs rather than take a pay cut.
