# Word Preparation #

## feedback: 反馈 ##

information or opinions about something, such as a new product, that provides an idea of whether it is successful or liked

I could give you the feedback on Monday.  
我周一可以给你反馈。

Students need positive feedback from teachers in class.  
学生在课堂上需要教师的积极反馈。

## reply: 回答 ##

to answer

He replied with a nod.  
他点了点头作为回答。

I wrote him a letter but he didn’t reply.  
我给他写了封信，但是他没有回复。

## compare with: 与 … 相比 ##

Compared with his room, mine is smaller.  
与他的房间相比，我的房间更小。

Compared with winter, I still prefer spring.  
与冬天相比，我仍然更喜欢春天。

## delivery speed: 送货速度 ##

Most companies want to improve their delivery speed.  
大多数公司都想提高供货速度。

Delivery speed means a lot among customers.  
顾客十分看重送货速度。

## pass to：传给 ##

Could you please pass the salt to Jane?  
能把盐递给Jane吗？

She passed the letter to Mary.

# Grammar #

## besides的用法 ##

1.  besides作为介词（preposition），表示 “除了 … 还有 …”；
2.  besides作为副词（adverb），表示 “此外”。

*  Do you like any other sports besides tennis and football?
 *  There will be five people coming to dinner, besides Tom.
 *  I don’t want to watch this film. Besides, I don’t have time.
 *  She won’t mind you being late. Besides, it is not your fault.
